The heat arrived today,

I don't remember it knocking

Suddenly it was in my bedroom

as I woke

My bathroom,

as I showered

My kitchen,

as I searched aimlessly

My living room,

as I slipped on my blue shoes

My garage,

as I stretched for the soon coming ride

My streets,

as I rode in and out of cars

My streets

My breath

My sweat
